People always ask me why I never cover American fashion designers. The truth is, American fashion bores me to death. Everything is so minimal, not glamourous and super understated. That won’t work for girls like us. I heard about Leila Shams during a meeting last week and I’m really surprised that I haven’t heard about her before. Her clothes are electrifying, sexy, glamours and elegant all at once. I can actually see my 20 something year old girlfriends as well as my older sophisticated girl pals from all across the world fall head over heels for Leila’s sense of design.
