I was one of the lucky bloggers to be chosen to participate in an amazing photo shoot for Cotton The Fabric of Our Lives® and these are the final pics from the campaign. Four other GLAM bloggers and I were treated to major luxuriating from hair and makeup to an on set manicurist topped off with racks of haute cotton couture. The girls and I were decked out in the latest fall collection all made from cotton. I’m so used to organizing shoots so it was so fun playing model for a day!
The stylists chose unbelievable outfits which I would have never tried on my own. My first look was a cobalt blue Philip Lim dress and colorblocked Zara platform shoes which I love! The dress looks great when cinched at the waist with a belt. You can pull this look off with any cotton dress and look pulled together without compromising comfort. For my second look I wore a textured white mini and cool printed cardi from Madewell over a white tank from Club Monaco and cute snakeskin heels from Guess. The look was very casual and effortless and can be worn everywhere from work to brunch.
I never really realized there were so many cool cotton options ranging from lace and denim to poplin and percale. I never dress for comfort so the idea that you can find cute and stylish clothes made from cotton that feel amazing is very enticing and I will be incorporating much more cotton fashion into my wardrobe this fall.
Some Backstage photos:
