Haute Mimi Luxe List - Strand Hotel NYC
On Thursday, September 13th I hosted my fabulous and absolutely stunning “Luxe List NYC” event at The Strand Hotel NYC. We showcased designs from my favorite New York based luxury designers who define the “Haute Mimi Look” of Exotic Glamour: Tina Tandon, Ted Rossi, and Mods and Rockers to celebrate NYFW while guests toasted to the night in style via the amazing Top Of The Strand rooftop bar. The event was fabulous and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end fashion week in style!

The Top Of The Strand was named one of the top rooftop bars in the city by NY Mag, after I saw the breathtaking views and took in the chic ambiance I knew the event was going to be MAJOR. We hosted a chic crowd of influencers to a night of glamour with a gorgeous presentation of models wearing couture dresses from T. Tandon, my favorite jewelry from Ted Rossi and the most electrifying handbags I have seen from Mods and Rockers. As you can see from the pics it was a spectacular night and I’ve never seen anything like it before. But can you really expect anything less from us?
What really made the evening besides the stunning presentation were the little touches. We had beautiful cupcakes from I Am Cupcake Shop with our logo, they were so delicious and so pretty I didn’t even want to eat them but glad I did because they were delicious! VOGA Wines sponsored premier VOGA Sparkling wines for the event. I personally love the VOGA bottles they are so glamourous and I love displaying them at my parties and even at home on my counters.
The Strand Hotel surprised guests with a special cocktail to celebrate the event called the “Haute Mimi” a delicious blend of Acai berry liqueur, fresh lime juice and vodka, let’s just say I couldn’t just have one, they were insane. We also nibbled on canapes prepared by the chef at The Strand. We also couldn’t have done it without the support of all of the designers, The Strand Hotel, sponsors, volunteers, ushers, hair and makeup team and the gorgeous models.
Overall, everything came together so well, I think I’ll just have to do it again. It was Haute Mimi personified and it couldn’t have been hauter.

After ten years of working for top design houses Christian Lacroix and Escada Tina Tandon decided to launch her own namesake label T. Tandon.
